Planning Time

Posted on by admin

We all have our daily job list and tasks we would like to achieve on any given day. But how often do we allocate specific timings to this list?  It is all too easy to fall into the trap of starting your day with a list as long as your arm of “things to do”, which would only be achieved if your working day was in excess of 12 hours, leaving you feeling frustrated that you did not get through it. And it’s very likely that it was impossible to start with!

As you get busier with the shortage of staff during the summer holiday months, it’s a good time to start planning your schedule and allocate some specific timings to those jobs! It is only by doing this that you will stay under control and achieve all that is needed, without lurching from one thing to the next and achieving nothing! While you might not tick many off at the start of the week, better planning will lead to a more “under control” Friday feeling and a more relaxed weekend!
