The Veterinary Practice Management Association (VPMA) have worked for several years as a collaborative partner with Mojo in a number of areas including the co-ordination of our hugely popular and successful annual conference. Additionally, as publisher for the association’s “Practice Life” magazine, Mojo’s expertise is print and online media support is an invaluable resource to our team.

Mojo consultancy is a small dynamic company with a “can do” attitude that always go the extra mile to deliver. Libby’s extensive experience within both the veterinary industry and clinical practice, combined with her attention to detail mean that she not only brings lots of fresh ideas to any project but is a pleasure to work with. I can’t recommend them highly enough!

project management

At different stages of our lives, we need different approaches to challenges and to help us make the most of opportunities. In the last five years, International Cat Care has grown immeasurably in its reach and activities. Those years have been hugely rewarding, but very taxing for such a small group of . At the beginning of 2015, we realised that we needed more resources to make the most of our activities here in the UK. However, we are very choosy about with whom we work, realising, through experience, that large companies or famous names do not always come up with the goods, give good value, or really understand what we need.

Throughout the year, International Cat Care has been working with Mojo to seize the growing momentum for veterinary practices to work more closely with cats and to develop the uptake of our, now worldwide, initiative for Cat Friendly Clinics in the UK. Our organisation has been busy developing this and other initiatives right across the world and we needed help to maximise the publicity surrounding Cat Friendly Clinic here in the UK. Having worked with Mojo on other smaller projects, it seemed a natural extension of that relationship to turn to Mojo for help with this project and we have been delighted with both the relationship and the outcome.

Mojo has, through Libby and Helen, two talented communicators who fully understand both the veterinary profession and the industry that supports it. This innate understanding makes communication simple and effective within the project and has resulted in some excellent market research work which helped us to better understand the barriers which appeared to hold some practices back, as well as some new and creative initiatives to develop engagement and expand our reach within the practising profession here in the UK.

For an organisation as small as ours to find the additional resources which Mojo offers us is a huge bonus and has resulted in a great working relationship and in-market results which are going from strength to strength.

marketing & pr

The British Veterinary Nursing Association (BVNA) recently appointed Mojo Consultancy to review and update our marketing and branding.  Mojo Consultancy took time to understand our requirements and suggested innovative and effective solutions. Mojo’s understanding of the veterinary industry and our work as a representative association meant that we received an excellent product within a challenging budget. We received excellent service and support throughout the project and would not hesitate to use Mojo Consultancy with any projects in the future.

Copywriting & Publishing – Stephanie Writer-Davies Practice Life SPVS Editor

I worked with Libby whilst Hon Editor for SPVS.  Libby helped with the development of the society’s new magazine, Practice Life, which was a new joint publication with VPMA.  Libby listened to the ideas for the new magazine, arranged focus groups to research the type of magazine that might appeal to the societies members and was responsible for putting together the initial draft from which Practice Life grew.  Some pages were set aside as SPVS and VPMA specific content but Libby sourced the rest of the editorial content, sold advertising space and arranged the layout, printing and distribution of each edition.  It was nice to be able to rely on Libby to make sure that the copy was of good quality and the magazine would reflect well on the societies; it made my job of Hon Editor much easier!
