Any budding writers?

Although it hasn’t been long since the June edition of Practice Life dropped on doormats, we are already laying out artwork for the September edition.

Vet practices get quite a variety of magazines delivered these days and it is easy to enjoy the read without thinking too much about the author and how they got to appear on the page. With Practice Life, we’re very lucky that we have a steady supply of veterinary and external professionals wishing to write for us; some of them are suppliers to vet practices, others working in consultancy or coaching, but we’re also very lucky that being an association magazine, we have access to a source of contributors working directly in practice, as vets, practice managers, nurses and client care team members. Their generosity of time – with many writing for us at weekends or during evenings on top of their full time jobs – means that Practice Life is very much a magazine in close connection with the grass roots of the profession.

We are very grateful to everyone within VPMA & SPVS as well as those outwith the associations for their support in providing us with content. Practice Life would not be so valued and be such an enjoyable read with topics the whole team benefits from without their help.

If you would like to write for us, please get in touch – we’re planning the 2016 editorial calendar right now. Case studies from practice are particularly welcome. Come on – if you’re doing something great (which we’re sure you are!), here’s a platform to shout about it.
