Computer says yes!

We couldn’t live without computers but boy do they like to give you a headache! Facilitating the VPMA lunch time webinar yesterday gave me a minor panic when the speaker was unable to join the organising team but a good old “turn off and on again” sorted it out. I am pleased that the VPMA lunchtime webinars are giving so many Practice Managers and decision makers an opportunity to keep up to date with relevant topics and yesterday this was the draft proposal to Practice Standards Scheme. There were 85 “delegates” listening to Pam Mosedale and Anthony Roberts without having to leave the comfort of their desks! Not only do they update us with this vital information but your computer will play a vital part in the scheme too.  A new IT system will be introduced, allowing practices to upload documents in advance of the Inspector – sorry Assessors (as they will be called) visit and will even send PM’s reminders when paperwork such as insurance certificates need updating – what would we do without computers eh.

If you are not a member of VPMA/SPVS so not able to listen to the webinar, take a look at the draft code here –  http://www.rcvs.org.uk/pssconsult2015/
